A shortlist begins with a question
Start with the activity you want to understand. An exchange, a salary-cap fantasy contest and a fixed-odds sportsbook answer different questions, even when their pages use familiar words such as selection or stake. Our finder asks for an activity before asking about optional features so that you can describe the task without choosing a brand first.
Location is a separate part of that task. You may choose a country and, where relevant, a state or province. This is a browsing preference saved in the result URL. We do not treat it as proof of where you are, where you live or whether you satisfy an operator’s rules.
What a match actually means
The finder checks our reviewed profiles for the selected activity and every selected feature. Selecting both an exchange activity and a lineup feature may produce no results. That is useful information: we have no profile documenting that combination. The tool does not quietly drop a requirement or substitute a famous brand.
For example, Betfair’s introduction explains back and lay positions. DraftKings’ fantasy introduction explains drafting player lineups. Those are evidence-backed format distinctions. Neither introduction alone establishes permission to use the product in your country, the price of a current event or the rules of a particular account.
Read the reason before the name
Each result says which documented activity and features caused it to appear. Results stay in directory order; there is no paid score, predicted return or hidden personal suitability rating. The absence of a feature means it was not documented in this snapshot, rather than proving the operator never provides it. Read the linked profile and source before drawing a broader conclusion.
We separately show country access, payments and offer status. Those fields remain unresolved when the research does not establish them. You can inspect every result without joining Route Notes, and the finder never asks about income, losses or a gambling budget.
Use the result as a research handoff
Save or copy the result URL to preserve your choices. On a later visit, re-read the source check date and the operator’s current rules. A shared URL preserves filters; it does not preserve a price, reserve a contest place or create an account.
Before any real-money decision, identify the exact product, check the applicable local regulator and confirm the operator’s current terms. If a key fact remains unclear, stop at the research stage. A shorter, clearly bounded shortlist is more useful than a confident answer built from missing evidence.
