A successful page load proves very little
A website may serve an educational article, allow account access or show a generic landing page to visitors who cannot place wagers. None of those observations alone establishes a current permission to gamble. A comparison tool should not turn a working link into an eligible-operator badge.
Ontario offers a clear official example. iGaming Ontario’s FAQ distinguishes opening or accessing an account from placing wagers while physically outside Ontario. This is a jurisdiction-specific illustration of the broader research problem: access to one function does not prove access to every function.
Offers need their own evidence
Even when a product is permitted in a location, a promotion can have separate conditions. The applicable terms may identify a product, entry condition, time window or account group. You need the actual current terms for the offer in question, rather than a brand homepage or a copied headline.
Our directory has no verified offers at present. Selecting a country does not activate an offer, and a format match never creates a promotional link. Source links lead to documentation for checking facts, not to a claimed exclusive deal.
Do not collapse the checks
Separate the exact site’s regulatory status, the product’s availability, your account conditions and the offer terms. These questions can have different answers and different evidence dates. A regulator entry for one domain cannot automatically be applied to every related domain or a different product under a similar name.
Age and identity are separate conditions too. In Great Britain, the Gambling Commission explains verification requirements before gambling. That guidance does not decide whether a particular visitor meets the rules in another jurisdiction or qualifies for a particular promotion.
Read an unknown label literally
When our finder says eligibility is unknown, it means the profile does not contain the evidence needed to confirm it. It does not mean eligible unless prohibited. Nor does it mean every platform in the directory is forbidden. The unresolved question remains unresolved.
Use the profile’s sources to understand the format, then go to the relevant official register and applicable operator terms for the specific location. If those checks cannot be completed, keep the result as editorial research. A directory can be useful without pretending that every record is an actionable offer.
Editorial guidance for adults. A documented format does not establish eligibility or personal suitability. Gambling involves financial loss and harm.
